These three-hour trainings will run from 9 a.m. to noon. All are free but pre-registration is required as seating is limited. Application for CEU, CLE and CPT credits are pending.
The trainings will provide an overview of Ohio's Crime Victim Compensation program, explaining its parameters, the law and what to expect from the process. Staff will also share the office's role in both the Sexual Assault Forensic Examination Reimbursement Program and the Sexual Assault Kit Tracking system, and review details of new software that has been developed for SAFE.
Then, our Elder Justice Unit will share advocacy insights about that specific population, and provide resources that can help you in your work within that vulnerable community.
The sessions will be held:
* Sept. 9 in Richfield
* Sept. 17 in Athens
* Sept. 23 in Columbus
* Oct. 2 in Centerville
* Oct. 17 in Bowling Green
Details on specific locations are below. More information will be sent to registrants once as we near each event.
